IMPOTENCE

The relationship between cycling and male impotence (erectile dysfunction) is a common concern. Prolonged pressure from a narrow or poorly adjusted saddle on the perineum can compress nerves and blood vessels. However, studies show that with proper saddle adjustment, choice of an ergonomic saddle, and regular standing while pedaling, the risk is minimal.

In fact, the cardiovascular benefits of regular cycling generally improve overall blood circulation, which is beneficial for reproductive health.
