FORK

The fork is the part of the bicycle that holds the front wheel. It is connected to the frame via the headset and is attached to the handlebars. There are two main types: rigid forks (common on road and city bikes) and suspension forks (common on mountain bikes) which absorb shocks from the terrain.

Forks are made from various materials, including steel, aluminum, and carbon fiber, affecting the weight, comfort, and handling of the bike.
