CAVIT CAV

Cavit Cav (1902-1993) is one of the pioneering figures in the history of Turkish cycling. He is considered one of the most important cyclists in the formative years of the Turkish Cycling Federation and Turkish sport in general.

Cavit Cav was one of the first selected members of the Turkish national cycling team. He prepared for the 1924 Paris Olympic Games, but the Turkish athletes could not participate in the cycling events because bicycles could not be found in time. Despite this disappointment, he continued to contribute to the development of cycling in Türkiye throughout his life.

His dedication and passion for the sport made him a legendary figure in Turkish cycling history.
