TRIATHLON BICYCLE
Triathlon bicycles (also known as TT or Time Trial bikes) are designed for speed and aerodynamic efficiency. Unlike standard road bikes, they feature a steeper seat tube angle, which positions the rider further forward. This position helps preserve the leg muscles for the running portion of a triathlon.
The most distinctive feature is the aero-bar, which allows the rider to tuck into a low, wind-cheating profile. They are optimized for riding solo against the clock, where drafting is usually not allowed.
