TIRE ROTATION
Bicycle tires wear at different rates; usually, the rear tire wears much faster than the front because it carries more weight and handles the power output of the drivetrain. However, for safety, it is critical that the front tire is always in good condition to maintain steering and braking control.
Rather than simply swapping front and rear tires, a common practice is to move the front tire to the rear and install a brand-new tire on the front wheel.
