REAR DERAILLEUR

The rear derailleur is a critical part of the bicycle’s drivetrain. It moves the chain between the different cogs on the cassette to change gears and maintains tension on the chain. It is operated by a shifter on the handlebars connected via a cable or electronic signal.

Proper adjustment of the limit screws and cable tension is necessary for smooth and accurate shifting.
