HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Proper height adjustment of the saddle and handlebars is essential for preventing injuries and maximizing power output. The most common adjustment is saddle height; when the pedal is at its lowest point, the leg should be almost fully extended with a slight bend in the knee.
Handlebar height affects the distribution of weight between the saddle and hands. A more upright position is comfortable for casual riding, while a lower position is more aerodynamic for racing.
