HEAT STROKE

Heat stroke is a common health problem in cycling. It should be seen as a significant threat especially on bicycle tours made in the summer season. The most important and effective precaution is not to go out in the sun during the hours when the sun is effective, between 12:00-15:00. Also, summer cycling clothing and sunscreens will also be helpful.

  • Rapid and strong heartbeat

  • Headache and dizziness
  • Confusion, disorientation
