First Aid for Fainting

  • The casualty is laid on their back, and their feet are raised 30 cm. Constricting clothing is loosened.
  • Airway patency is checked; if there is vomiting, they are laid on their side.
  • Call 112 for medical help.
  • Stay with the casualty until emergency medical help arrives.

First Aid in Case of Shock

  • The casualty’s anxiety is relieved.
  • Breathing is checked, and airway patency is ensured. If there is bleeding, it is stopped.
  • Shock position is given: The casualty is laid on their back, and feet are raised 30 cm.
  • Call 112 for medical help.
  • Stay with the casualty until emergency medical help arrives.
