CYCLING TIGHTS
Cycling tights are full-length close-fitting pants worn for cycling in cooler conditions. Unlike casual tights, quality cycling tights are designed specifically for the cycling position and motion.
Features
- Chamois pad: Quality cycling tights include a built-in padded chamois in the seat area, just like cycling shorts. These are called "bib tights" and eliminate the need to wear shorts underneath.
- Bib design: Many cycling tights feature a bib (shoulder strap) design, which keeps the tights in place and prevents the waistband from digging into the stomach when bent over the handlebars.
- Windproof panels: Often featured on the front of the legs for protection against wind chill.
- Reflective elements: For visibility in low-light conditions.
