CHAIN TOOL
On tours made outside of residential areas, a chain tool must be kept in the repair kit. Although it does not happen very often, a chain break is always a threat awaiting cyclists. However, its solution is very simple. The chain pin before the broken link is opened with the tool and joined with the corresponding link.
The chain tool may also be required in chain replacement, besides chain break situations—unless there is a power link in the chain.
