CADENCE

Cadence is the number of revolutions of the crank per minute (RPM). It is a key metric for cycling efficiency. Most experienced cyclists aim for a cadence between 80 and 100 RPM. A higher cadence puts more stress on the cardiovascular system, while a lower cadence (grinding) puts more stress on the muscles.

Using a cadence sensor can help riders maintain an optimal rhythm and improve their endurance on long rides.
