WEDNESDAY NIGHT CYCLISTS

Inspired by the Thursday Night Cyclists movement led by Muhlis Dilmaç, this group was formed with the support of cycling enthusiasts in Bornova and EBİT (Ege University Bicycle Community).

Our aim is not fast-paced riding, but rather creating a social environment for cycling enthusiasts and raising awareness about bicycle use in Bornova as the most environmentally friendly means of transportation. Our common purpose is simply to ride bicycles. We are all here because we already know how to ride.

Every Wednesday evening, we depart from Cumhuriyet Park next to Özkanlar Tansaş — at 20:00 during winter time and 20:30 during summer time. Depending on the route, participants can also join from different points along the way.

In addition, we organize weekend activities, including Saturday morning breakfast rides to Kayadibi Village and full-day nature tours on Sundays.
